Officials from Phuket’s travel industry, who visited Korea on the 18th as part of a renewed leap forward to announce Phuket travel after COVID-19, participated in the first Phuket Travel Fair, Seoul, along with a media meeting.
The event was attended by hotel and entertainment industry officials, including Rungkan Apanurak, sales manager of Royal Phuket Resort, such as Phuket Town’s Icon, and Wariya Chatay, Phuket’s most famous show.
Andamanda, Phuket’s largest water park, opened two years ago.New companies such as the water park and the recently opened Dermarin Phuket Resort attended the meeting together, and on the 19th, a 1:1 travel mart, Phuket Travelin Seoul, was held by a total of 22 travel companies for Korean travel agencies.
The Travel Fair was attended by Mandaraba Resort & Spa, Royal Phuket City Resort, and Namaka Resort Kalima, as well as indoor entertainment show Simon Cabaret Phuket and theme water park Andamanda Phuket, which have recently emerged as popular resorts for Phuket travelers.
An official from Phuket Hotel Resort said, “We visited Korea to inform Korean families and couples that the best tourism infrastructure is still established to provide healing and colorful enjoyment,” adding, “We hope that Koreans will be healed at Phuket, an eternal steady seller travel destination.”
