TRAVEL BACK IN TIME WITH US.

There was a time in history, we saw the boys with quiff hair, girls with circle skirt on the street, and the colour television sat in our living room. We just loved tv shows, loved Elvis Presley singing those Rock N Roll songs. Women’s best model for plastic surgery might be Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. (Oh no, plastic surgery wasn’t invented yet) Our world had largely recovered from WorldWar II, however Space Race had just begun. We took a huge leap in science, technology, and also the popular culture. It was 1950s, we would like to call it the golden age.

Super ADD and Jump From Paper both took the 1950s as inspiration. The installation art group Super ADD is going to create a site-specific installation art by using colour paper and some other unknown material; and the fashion brand Jump From Paper will launch their brand new collection of 2013 “TIME MACHINE” series, which will be at the Paris fashion week on June. Please come with us to the most creative collaborate party in Taipei on 7th, June at PIPE. We will prepare the best music, from Nu-disco, Rock n Roll, house, techno, to electronic, and remember ANYTHING is possible at our party.

Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to time travel. Our destination is 1950s. There’s a little tip from the tour guide: To perfectly fit in with the 1950s, you better dress up like one! There will be cameras around, dress hot and the bartender might treat you a shot.
